One of the highlights of the newly-renovated Commonwealth Stadium festivities was the pregame concert. UK Hoops Coach Matthew Mitchell served as frontman for the Go Big Blue Band, opening for local country duo Sundy Best. Mitchell sang everything from country to rock, including Mitchell-favorite Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone.” The crooner also included a medley of his Big Blue Madness performances, going back to his dancing roots with another crowd-pleasing rendition of the dougie.
