The University of Kentucky has revealed the name of the Wildcats new multimillion dollar baseball facility.
The new stadium will officially be named Kentucky Proud Park as a tribute to farmers and business of the state of Kentucky.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The new home of Kentucky baseball has been officially named Kentucky Proud Park after approval by the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees on Friday. The name is a tribute to farmers and businesses of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Big Blue Nation.
“Farmers and their families are deeply woven into the culture and heritage of our state,” Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart said.
