Yesterday, the Kentucky Associated Press High School Basketball Poll was released. Here are my thoughts on the top 10:
1. Ashland – The Tomcats are the only remaining undefeated team in the state. Sophomore Cole Villers missed most of last season with an injury but got healthy in time to lead Ashland to the state quarterfinals. They barely got past rival Boyd County last week. Ashland has not played any of the other top 10 teams.
2. John Hardin – The Bulldogs have only lost one regular season game in the last two seasons combined.
