The Kentucky Wildcats are in position to win another regular-season SEC crown after a wild win at No. 11 Florida on Sunday in five sets (25-21, 15-25, 23-25, 26-24, 15-12).
With the win, the Cats improve to 20-6 overall and 13-2 in SEC play while being tied with Florida, who is also 13-2. The Gators’ loss on was just their fourth of the season, but it was also the second to Kentucky.
This is also the fourth-straight year in which Kentucky has won at Florida.
Sophomore outside hitter Alli Stumler had a career-high 27 kills in the match, while senior Leah Edmond eclipsed her career high with 30 kills.
