What a weekend it was for the Kentucky Softball team. With an 11-1 win on Sunday over UC Santa Barbara, the No. 16 Wildcats closed out a perfect 5-0 weekend in Tuscon, AZ at the 2022 Hillenbrand Invitational.
Today’s match was the second time the ‘Cats faced the Olés this weekend. UK crushed UCSB 23-0 on Friday, marking a school record for most runs scored in a game. Though they still got the dub today, this one was a little bit closer (just a little bit).
Kentucky took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning after a two-RBI single from Erin Coffel.
