KSR has learned the Nik Scalzo will be one of three quarterbacks featured in the third season of the Netflix documentary series, QB1: Beyond the Lights.
Created by Peter Berg, the mastermind behind Friday Night Lights, QB1 takes viewers behind the scenes through the recruitments of the nation’s top quarterback prospects. The first installment highlighted a household name, Georgia’s Jake Fromm, and the future of Ohio State football, Tate Martell. Season 2 premieres in April with former Georgia quarterback Justin Fields as the focal point.
Scalzo will receive the spotlight just before his first season of football begins in the Bluegrass.
