Immanuel Quickley spent a few minutes Monday afternoon looking back on his team’s embarrassing loss at Tennessee, but only because his UK media schedule required it. He and his teammates had already moved on mentally, following the 24-hour rule after each game.
“You take 24 hours,” Quickley said, when asked if the loss to the Vols will linger a little longer. “Just like any good win or a bad loss, you try to move on to the next and try to bounce back.”
Saturday’s letdown is behind them; however, the Wildcats will a take a lesson from that experience with them throughout the games to come.
