It was never easy, it was never pretty, but the Kentucky Wildcats are moving on to the SEC Tournament Championship after a 93-80 victory over Georgia.
Mark Fox reversed roles from last year, employing a platooning tactic that produced proficient shooting. In the first half Georgia hit 6-12 three-pointers and shot 61.3% from the field to score 49 points, one more than the 48 they scored when they made the trip to Lexington last month.
Kentucky struggled to shake off some rust at the start, trailing by 7-9 points for most of the first half.
