LEXINGTON, Ky. – What do UK outside linebacker Josh Allen and offensive lineman Bunchy Stallings have in common?
As of Monday, both can claim midseason All-American status via ESPN, but even before their stellar first halves the duo held the distinction of being the two lowest-rated scholarship recruits on Kentucky’s two-deep depth chart.
“You see it in the NFL draft all the time: The Johnny Manziels that come out as a (first-round) draft choice and never make it,” former UK coach Rich Brooks recently told the Courier Journal.
