UK Football: Kentucky Lands Former Four-star WR Ahmad Wagner

Former two-sport high school star Ahmad Wagner decided to play college basketball coming into college. He played two years at the University of Iowa before deciding he wanted to bring his talents to the gridiron and play college football. The 6-foot-7, 222-pound wide receiver is originally from Ohio and created a strong relationship with Kentucky assistant Vince Marrow during his high school recruitment. That relationship played a factor in choosing Kentucky. Wagner took an official visit to Kentucky recently and we heard from sources there was a chance the Cats could land him during his visit. While the commitment took longer than expected, and he will be eligible to play this season, this is a huge commitment for the Kentucky football program moving forward.
