The Kentucky Wildcats football team is calling on Big Blue Nation to continue to help Chris Oats.
The Kentucky linebacker suffered a stroke in the spring of 2020, but Chris remains a part of every Saturday the team takes the field. When the team runs out of the tunnel, they are carrying a “22” flag, as well as various different players wearing his number as they play this season.
Now, there is a chance for fans to help show their support for Oats and his family.
Chris is now back at home, but the medical bills and rehab expenses are still incredibly expensive.
