UK wide receivers coach Jovon Bouknight was arrested and booked early Saturday morning by the Erlanger Police Department in Northern Kentucky.
According to the Kenton County jail’s website, Bouknight was stopped for speeding 26 mph or more above the limit, in addition to charges for possession of an open alcoholic container and operating a motor vehicle under the influence, his first offense.
Bouknight is in his second season in Lexington as an assistant on Mark Stoops’ staff.
UK is looking into the matter and will handle it internally.
