2022 Kentucky Wildcats commit Kiyaunta Goodwin has reached 5-star status.
The formally consensus 4-star recruit is now rated as a 5-star prospect by 247 Sports, where he’s also the 13th-ranked player in the nation for 2022.
Goodwin, a 6-foot-7 offensive tackle from Charlestown (IN), ranks as the second-best offensive tackle in the nation for 2022, trailing only uncommitted Seattle native Josh Conerly Jr.
“[He is] much improved from last year,” Goodwin’s trainer Chris Vaughn told the Cats Pause.
“Last year, the concentration was really dropping the weight. This year, he is carrying a little more weight, but it is a lot more muscle now.
