LEXINGTON – The new coronavirus has brought sports across the globe to a halt, but perhaps nowhere was that abrupt ending more stunning than in the locker room of the UK rifle team.
Like other American college athletes, the UK rifle team saw its chance to compete for a national championship ended on March 12 when the NCAA announced all winter and spring championships had been canceled in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
