It’s been one year since TyTy Washington officially became a Kentucky Wildcat.
The former five-star prospect announced his commitment to UK on May 12, 2021, choosing the Wildcats over Arizona, Kansas and LSU, among other offers.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to come to Kentucky and chase my dreams,” Washington said upon signing with the program. “Coach Cal told me if you come to Kentucky, you bet on yourself and I’ve always done that.”
Prior to Washington’s commitment, Kentucky had zero point guards on the roster going into mid-May.
