Former Kentucky standout Tyrese Maxey made history tonight in Philadelphia. Making his playoff starting debut Saturday evening for the 76ers, the standout guard finished with 38 points on 14-21 shooting and 5-8 from three in a 131-111 win over Toronto.
The second-year guard scored 21 points on 7-8 shooting in the third quarter alone to help solidify the victory.
Just 21 years old, Maxey became the youngest 76er to drop 35-plus points in the playoffs. The only players in NBA history younger than Maxey to score at least 38 points in a playoff game?
