Could former Kentucky guard Tyrese Maxey find his way out of Philadelphia just 12 games into his rookie season? It’s reportedly on the table.
According to Mark Stein of the New York Times, Maxey is one of two headlining pieces in a potential trade for Houston Rockets superstar James Harden.
Stein reports that Maxey would join Philadelphia star Ben Simmons in Houston in exchange for the disgruntled Rockets guard.
“The Rockets are pursuing a trade package from the 76ers that would be headlined by Ben Simmons and Tyrese Maxey,” Stein said. “Houston is increasingly determined to complete a James Harden trade as soon as today, league sources say, and has chased the promising Maxey in addition to Simmons.
