Two of UK’s Three Guards have Triple-Doubles

The historical significance cannot be understated.

Entering this year, the only triple-double in UK history was Chris Mills’ 19 point, 10 rebound and 10 assist performance against Austin Peay in 1988. De’Aaron Fox etched his name into the record book against Arizona State and tonight Isaiah Briscoe became the third.

“I was just playing hard,” Briscoe was humble after his record-setting SEC-opening victory. “I give all of the credit to my teammates.”

The remaining guard without a triple-double, Malik Monk, fell back into a shooting rhythm. Monk had 24 points at halftime and finished with 34 points.
