Two Kentucky players mentioned in FBI scandal document handed over to NCAA

The FBI has given the NCAA the go-ahead to move forward with their investigations into possible rules violations by the schools mentioned in its probe into college basketball. Tonight, ESPN is reporting that former Kentucky player Jarred Vanderbilt and current Cat Ashton Hagans were two of 19 players mentioned in a business plan would-be agent Christian Dawkins proposed to his partners back in September 2017.

Vanderbilt’s mention is the more concerning of the two considering he had already signed with Kentucky at the time of the email. From ESPN:

According to the email, Dawkins planned to give Vanderbilt’s family $30,000 in travel expenses to watch him play for the Wildcats last season, plus his father was going to get a $25,000 signing bonus when his son turned pro.
