Today is game day for UK Hoops as the Wildcats take on Iowa.
With a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line, the Wildcats and Hawkeyes will go head-to-head in a matchup of two of the top players in the country.
Of course, Kentucky has SEC Player of the Year and First Team All-American Rhyne Howard, but the Hawkeyes have a freshman phenom in fellow First Team All-American Caitlin Clark, the nation’s leading scorer at 26.5 points per game.
That matchup alone makes this one of the more anticipated games of the day, but Kentucky will need other players to step up big if they’re going to take down Iowa, one of the highest-scoring teams in the nation.
