Tristan Pompey is rocketing up through the Marlins farm system

Former Kentucky Wildcats baseball player Tristan Pompey is skyrocketing through the minor leagues. After having success in the Marlins’ rookie league and dominating competition at Class-A Greensboro, it won’t be long before Pompey makes the jump to the Major Leagues.

The Marlins selected Pompey with their third-round pick and the 89th pick in 2018 MLB Draft. The former Wildcat starred in the outfield for the University Kentucky. During his three-year career, Pompey hit .321 with 21 homers and 113 RBIs. He totaled 71 extra-base hits and his on-base percentage was an impressive .
