We are two weeks into the 2022 college baseball season, and Nick Mingione’s sixth ballclub at Kentucky has hit some important checkpoints early as the Wildcats are off to a 7-0 start with two early season sweeps over mid-major competition. Things are currently looking up for Kentucky baseball.

Steady bullpen
In the sweep over Jacksonville State to begin the year, Kentucky’s bullpen delivered 12 shutout innings over three games and followed that up with a solid mid-week performance against Bellarmine.
