The Trinity Shamrocks used a big 12-2 run late in the 4th quarter and then cruised to their 2nd boys state championship in school history with a 60-50 win over Scott County.
The Shamrocks, who pulled off a wild win last night over Campbell County, kept their poise as they battled back from a fast 7-0 start by the Cardinals to begin the game.
David Johnson was there throughout the game to hit big shots as he drilled 3 threes in the 1st half which included one at the buzzer to tie the game at the half at 22.
