Trey Liles missed his first Summer League practice as he waits to sign a contract with the Utah Jazz. It’s not Trey’s fault, the Jazz are still trying to do some work in the free agent market and signing any contract would limit their cap space.

“Don’t blame the kid at all,” Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey said. “… The fans need to know they can look at me. It has nothing to do with Trey.”
While there are still some small contractual details to work out, according to Lindsey, the real issue is a matter of salary cap flexibility.
