Lyon County has punched a ticket to the KHSAA UK Healthcare Boys Sweet 16, where the state’s top-ranked junior could break Kentucky‘s all-time scoring record inside Rupp Arena.

Four-star guard Travis Perry scored 33 points in a win vs. Hopkinsville to earn the Region 2 championship on Tuesday, the Lyons’ second straight title. Now with 4,317 career points, Perry is just 21 points away from breaking Kelly “King” Coleman’s all-time scoring record of 4,337 points for Kentucky boys high school basketball.
