COVID-19 has officially shutdown life in the United States of America and that means practically all events have been either called off or postponed. Games have been stripped from taking place and the television networks are stuck with globs of open space to plug in random programming. On Saturday night, SportsCenter was having to show cricket highlights to fill up the time. We are in the middle of July during an MLB strike except football is just under six months away.
It is going to be a weird time in the sports world in the foreseeable future with no games being played.
