This week’s edition of the John Calipari Show was more eventful and newsworthy than most of its predecessors. Coach Cal said that he met individually with three members of the team on Monday and revealed that Terrence Clarke will miss 7-10 more days with an ankle sprain. He also dropped a line we haven’t heard in a while, “It’s still not communism.”
Calipari told his team that starting positions are up for grabs and saw an immediate response from a handful of individuals in practice. Who might that be? As Jack Pilgrim detailed, Calipari did not get into specifics, but did state that analytics point to one lineup in particular that performs better offensively than the rest.
