KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Auburn coach Bruce Pearl’s familiarity with the Kentucky roster predates the two teams' regular season meetings.
“I was probably the first guy to offer every one of those guys (in UK’s freshman class),” Pearl said. “And lost every single one of them to Kentucky.”
Pearl raved about the makeup of Kentucky’s freshmen after the Wildcats’ Jan. 19 win at Auburn and Feb. 23 win in Lexington.
