Kentucky headed to Starkville really needing a win and it feels like that’s something we’ve said multiple times in the last few games. The Wildcats felt like they needed an extra game earlier this week and it resulted in an exhibition game being scheduled against Transylvania. Coming out of that, we heard Dontaie Allen had a really good game and it seemed like we could see him for the first real time to kick off the New Year.
Well, the Pendleton County product delivered.
Allen scored 20 of his 23 points in the last 20 minutes of the game and helped lead a comeback after John Calipari was ejected in the second half.
