Coming off a freshly-bestowed scholarship, Brennan Canada earned a spot on the 2023 NABC Honors Court. He joined former Kentucky Wildcats Oscar Tshiebwe and CJ Fredrick as the three basketball players to achieve the designation.
The NABC Honors Court is eligible for all juniors, seniors, and graduate students in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. More than 1,800 players earned a spot on the list throughout the nation across all levels of college basketball.
Tshiebwe became the first person in his family to attain a college degree, not to mention the first in his family to play in the NBA, as he is now with the Indiana Pacers.
