Three former Kentucky Wildcats got some good news today. Derek Willis, Archie Goodwin, and James Young were all invited to the NBA’s G-League Elite Mini Camp, which will take place May 14 and 15 in Chicago.
With NBA scouts in town for the Draft Combine (May 16-20), participants will have a chance to showcase their talent in hopes of landing a spot in a summer league or training camp. Last season, Willis played for the Grand Rapids Drive, Goodwin the North Arizona Suns, and Young (who has been in Lexington the last few weeks training) the Delaware Blue Coats.
