We have heard a lot about how difficult the non-conference schedule was this season. Despite some hyperbole from Coach Calipari about how he should be drug tested or needed to have his head examined for scheduling so many tough opponents, it was, in fairness, one of the best non-conference slates in the country. Kentucky will finally finish up their gauntlet on Saturday when the Texas Longhorns come to Rupp Arena as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Additionally, the Wildcats will travel to Tuscaloosa on Tuesday night for a rematch with Alabama who has won nine straight including their first eight SEC contests.
