On Saturday, San Diego State missed out on the chance to lock up a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament when it was upset by Utah State in the Mountain West finals. Belmont then clinched its place in the big dance with a backdoor layup with three seconds remaining in the Ohio Valley finals against Murray State.
