Due to a winter storm out in Missouri, John Calipari and his Wildcats are stuck in Columbia for the night. Their usual late-night flight home, the way they always leave town following a road game, has been delayed until Wednesday morning, at best.
Coach Cal didn’t seem thrilled about the travel inconvenience.
“Every time we come here, it’s either an ice storm, a rain storm, a snow storm, something,” he said. “I don’t know if we’re right outside Anchorage or where the heck we are, but we have to stay overnight.”
He hopes the team plane can take off before noon on Wednesday to have them back in Lexington by 2 p.
