Right now college basketball’s annual ESPN/State Farm doubleheader is looking for a home (or homes) for Duke to play Michigan State and Kentucky to play Kansas. Originally scheduled for a week from tomorrow in Chicago, COVID-19 forced the game out of Chicago and into an Orlando bubble at a later date; however, the Orlando plan got scrapped last week over differences between event planners and the participating schools.
Indianapolis is rumored to be the Champions Classic’s new target city, but playing each game on campus has also emerged as a serious possibility.
