We have our first bit of news from Kentucky Basketball’s flood relief telethon. Senior point guard Sahvir Wheeler just took the mic and told the crowd at Rupp Arena that this year’s Blue-White Game will take place in Eastern Kentucky. The date and location are still to be determined, but Wheeler said that it may take place in Pikeville.
“This year, we’re going to move the Blue-White game to Eastern Kentucky,” Wheeler announced. “We know it’s been a pleasure playing for you guys here but Coach suggested moving it to Pikeville this year.”
More details are coming soon, but what a very cool idea for a region that has suffered so much.
