The Kentucky football team is starting the weekend with a game of Yahtzee. Friday morning four-star cornerback Alex Afari announced his commitment to Kentucky, choosing the Wildcats over Purdue, Indiana and Cincinnati. A long-time UK recruit, he’s come close to the UK coaches over the years.
“The relationships with Coach Marrow, Coach Stoops, and I feel Coach Clink and Coach Stoops will develop me as a man and a football player,” Afari said on KSR, “The relationships they build with the players and how generous they are.”
The cornerback’s announcement is just a week after UK had two secondary players picked in the NFL Draft.
