Last week, The Basketball Tournament announced its plans for a July 4th weekend tipoff. On Tuesday, the finalized details regarding the schedule and a 24-team bracket were officially presented through a Selection Show, led by ESPN’s Seth Greenburg and Fran Fraschilla.
Unfortunately, Team Detroit, who were able to add former Kentucky Wildcat Marcus Lee to its roster, did not make the cut.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, TBT intends to take a different route this time around, following in the footsteps of what the NBA plans to do once they return.
These 24 teams will compete for $1 MILLION in Columbus July 4-14!
