After a longer than expected delay, Oscar Tshiebwe has made it back to the Kentucky campus.
According to Kyle Tucker of The Athletic, the West Virginia transfer experienced an issue with his visa after traveling to his home country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to see his mother for the first time since 2015. Tucker reports that Tshiebwe decided to extend his stay in the Congo an extra few days, which incidentally meant his visa would no longer remain valid.
But somehow, someway, he made it back to the United States on Thursday and was expected to arrive in Kentucky sometime on Friday.
