After a wild 24 hours, Texas A&M is reportedly close to hiring Duke head coach Mike Elko to replace Jimbo Fisher.
Elko led Duke to a 7-5 record this season. In two years, his record with the Blue Devils is 16-9. He led the team to the Military Bowl last season.
This is a return to College Station for Elko as he was the team’s defensive coordinator from 2018-2021.
