After the dust settled on Kentucky’s 37-30 victory over Virginia Tech in the Belk Bowl, UK quarterback Terry Wilson gave us quite the reason to take a step back and think big picture on the program’s eight-win season and bowl victories to bookend the start and finish of 2019.
Wilson dedicated Kentucky’s Belk Bowl victory and the season as a whole to former Wildcat quarterback Jared Lorenzen, who passed away on July 3 of this year.
“That was for you 22,” Wilson wrote on Twitter immediately following the game.
