Tennessee gave Rick Barnes a contract extension through the 2026-27 season on Thursday.
Barnes led the Volunteers to their first SEC Tournament championship since 1979 a few weeks ago.
With 754 career victories, Barnes ranks seventh nationally among active head coaches in career Division I wins.
