Hello, teams of the NCAA Tournament's South Regional!
As you might know, your arrival in our basketball-crazy Bluegrass city comes at the following time: Louisville's men's team is out, Indiana was consigned to the NIT and while Kentucky made the NCAA Sweet 16, it is headed to Kansas City, grimly aware that the selection committee didn't allow the second-seeded Wildcats to play at a regional 80 miles away (though it evidently was OK for fourth-seeded Kansas to be placed on a path to play 40 miles away in Kansas City).
But nonetheless, a hardy welcome as practices start Wednesday in advance of Thursday night's games.
