It’s a Merry Flipmas in the Bluegrass. Entering the final week of the open recruiting period, Tavion Gadson was a Florida State commit. Following an official visit to Lexington, Gadson is a Kentucky Wildcat.
A 6-foot-5, 270-pound defensive lineman from Savannah, GA, Gadson did not initially plan on putting pen to paper during the Early Signing Period. In addition to hearing from Florida State, he was also being heavily recruited by Tennessee. The Volunteers wanted him to wait to sign until February and take an official visit to Knoxville.
