Former Kentucky forward Tai Wynyard was named MVP after leading Porirua to the U23 national championship in New Zealand over the weekend.
Wynyard finished with 28 points and 23 rebounds in the 90-77 championship win over Manawatu.
After the final, Wynyard was named the the All-Tournament Team and chosen as tournament MVP:
