Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Sydney McLaughlin torched the competition in a race.
Participating in the Toyota USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships out in Eugene, Oregon, McLaughlin-Levrone advanced to 400m finals after clocking a 49.60 in the semifinals on Friday. The Xfinity Women’s 400m Final is scheduled for 9:19 p.m. ET live on CNBC.
The former Wildcat previously set a personal record (PR), 49.51 at the NYC Grand Prix back in June before running a 49.79 on Thursday to advance to Friday evening’s semifinal.
McLaughlin-Levrone isn’t the only UK Track & Field alum turning heads out in Eugene.
