LEXINGTON, Ky. – Reid Travis’ transition from Stanford to Kentucky was never going to be seamless.
Yes, Travis was already a two-time All-Pac 12 performer with four years of college experience, but that did not mean he was accustomed to playing the style of basketball John Calipari demands or that NBA scouts want to see from him.
So when Travis made just eight of his 30 shots in the first three games of Kentucky’s Bahamas exhibition tour, those close to him were not concerned.
