Kentucky has its point guard, signing five-star prospect TyTy Washington this past week, a move that pushed the Wildcats up to No. 7 overall in the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.
Washington, a consensus top-16 prospect in the class and rated as high as No. 11 in the nation by Rivals.com, chose UK over Arizona, Kansas and LSU on May 12.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to come to Kentucky and chase my dreams,” Washington said upon signing with the program. “Coach Cal told me if you come to Kentucky, you bet on yourself and I’ve always done that.
