People who enjoy perusing through UK football players’ social media accounts feared J.J. Weaver might not return to Lexington after he shared a video on an Instagram story from Florida. Kentucky’s SEC All-Freshman Team selection was enjoying some time with his family in Ft. Lauderdale where it is obviously much warmer than icy Lexington in January. Some took that tongue in cheek remark seriously.
Mark Stoops confirmed on this morning’s edition of KSR that Weaver will in fact be back at UK soon to begin rehabilitating the knee he injured against Florida.
