One of only three public appearances this week, Kentucky’s head coach is anxious to return to the practice field this afternoon after six challenging weeks of SEC football.
“It’s a good time for us to get the open week. Playing six straight SEC games obviously takes its toll on anybody,” Stoops said. “We’re a bit beat up coming off a couple tough losses so we certainly need the time to regroup, get back to work, have great practices this week, have a chance to heal up a bit and certainly work on ourselves and work to improve, along with getting a bit ahead on our next opponent, Vanderbilt.
